[Video] JYJ – Ayyy Girl MV (HQ) or A Gal? (new title?)

Here is a very cool MV I love it, it doesnt have much to do with the song though, with the theme of Greek mythology.

and here are some captures, Yoochun is alot prettier than a girl. They put too much eyeliner on his eyes.  Still  hot! Hot! Hot! Nosebleed!!!

Hmm I thought you girls would have a lot to say about this MV but didnt see any comment here.
Ok now, it's my turn to comment then. After reading so much comments about this MV there are a few things I want to say, hopefully somebody out there have the same feelings as I have about this whole issue and MV.


There are lots of fans commenting, comparing, bashing, blah blah blah.
I have no control over whether people like or hate the MV nor about personal taste but if you are comparing with DBSK's works then please considering the following points.


1. DBSK's olden days (shadow) is too big not to compare. I understand this, but please do not compare between JYJ's works and DBSK's work because they are two completely different groups, they work under a very different environment, staff, condition and so on. DBSK was under SM, SM have full control over their products. JYJ is free, they can do whatever they want and they are in full control. They choose their own method of portraying they music in this MV.  This is what JYJ wants, that was one of the reasons why the left SM. Some even say that the MV is not up to DBKS's standard. Please what standards are there? Who set those standards? You? What give you the right to say your standards is better than JYJ's or DBSK's or anybody's?


2. Whatever JYJ or MinHo are doing from now on will be compared to the DBSK's golden days or their past.  This is abit shallow and shortsighted. We need to look at them objectively as a new group from now on. JYJ is JYJ and MinHo is MinHo. Not all DBSK's MVs were good nor high standard anyway.


3. If you are a fan, ask yourself this, you are a fans of JYJ because they used to be DBSK? Or you are a fan because JYJ is themselves but no one else. Or you are used to be a fan of DBSK and still a fan now in hoping that the 5 of them will be working together again in the future. Let me tell you this, I dont think DBSK will ever be united again. They said that when a mirror is crashed, there is no way you can piece them together ever again without cracks.  JYJ has moved on so does MinHo.  These distinctions will help you looking at the bigger picture. Like me I am not ashamd saying that I am a JYJ's fans because I am Micky Yoochun Park's fan and respect his activity as a group and respect whatever he does. If you are a Cassie then you should be proud to have follow country men made it to the Billboard in the US.


4. Some said that the American will ortracize this MV, the boys look to effeminate, too Asian, nothing like American music. Americans like macho men and so on. Oh come on JYJ are Asians, they are themselves so what is wrong with being themselves? JYJ has never utter a word about entering in to the American Music scene. This album is released in the US just because it was happened that they worked with American musicians. Nothing much to it. Secondly this album is aimed for world wide fans at large that is outside Korea and Japan. What language is more appropriate then English if they want to convey their music to international fans? Thirdly, about standards again, who said the American has high standard in music? Trust me there are lots of crappy MV and American songs out there that turn you off completely.  Hmm one of them let me remember "dont let the dog out"? To me this song was horrible but some liked it, (this come back to the personal taste again here). I am sure JYJ didnt do this purposely to please the Americans at large.

5. And remember this is self funded project, so the MV would be according to JYJ's budget, not like DBSK's works with a giant financial back up like SM. As a fan I am proud, because they are independent, stand up and funded their own work, these boys can achieve anything if they set their mind to do it.

Ok enough said here are my personal comments on the MV
1. Yoochun's make up (especially the eyes) are too heavy. He looks alot prettier than most girls.
2. The fashion is a bit of a question mark here, once again I hate Junsu's bib. They need to fire the stylist.
3. This MV doesnt show much their vocal and dancing skills.
4. The naration is too long for a song, when listen to a song you dont want to heard such a long naration, you want to listen to music not talking.
5. the MV has nothing to do with the song, but then again there are lots of MV out there have nothing to do with the actual songs anyway so this is pretty normal, I am just whining here. They are conveying their own thoughts, as a fan I am ashamed that I cant read it :-(


My comments sound like I dont like the MV, I love it, it different, lots of hidden meaning that will drive people crazy if they want to interpret the MV. For example there are some stars in the sky in the MV, the cassiopeians already interpreted as them in that sky, if they show a very clear sky at night, it would be funnier if there is no stars.






Hey Hana, I guess we were too busy being depressed about the negative feedbacks that we didn't write any comment. About the MV, I agree with everything you said. I just want to share some of my opinions:


1. I don't have a problem with the guyliner on our Chunnie. The only one is that I feel embarrassed when I look at myself at the mirror after watching the MV, lol. When I saw the fancam, I felt horrible, it seemed like they put red lipstick on him. Thank God they didn't. He has heavy makeup on, but his facial expression is too cool and sexy to make him look girly. 


2. Well fashion is a big question mark here. I don't get why Junsu agreed to put that apron on TT__TT. 
But I LOVE them in the white suits, especially Yoochun. I read the comments, and even people who didn't like the MV or the makeup and hairstyle of Chunnie had to agree that he looks handsome in the white suit. Gawww, I can't stop starring at his legs...


3. Jaejoong really needs to do something to stand out more. His eyes look dead, he looks dead. He didn't have his own aura, and his dancing just... sucks. I even said at one point, maybe he should just put on Su's bib instead, so that people has something to talk about him. Really he didn't leave me any impression AT ALL. 


4. I loled at the delusional thinking of some Cassies. If u pay attention, it was SIX stars, yeah, 6, not 5, but they only see 5, or WANT to see. 


5. I really like the MV. Sure it's not the best, as a movie fan, I have to say that the effects were poorly made, but our boys worked hard for it, all by themselves. So I'm proud. Beside, it's really symbolic. It has A LOT of meanings behind it. About how symbolic it is, I'm gonna leave the explanation for my soulmate ^^, she found it.


I personally think this MV is a success. It became the talk of the town right after it was released. People talks crazily about it. Whether it's negative or positive comment, it sure is drawing the attention of the world. 

Ok, Hanna, you sure know the reasons why you didn't comments when you posted it. You sure know how I feel: depressed, disappointed and angry not because if the MV but the fans. I am not sure if I already calm down but I will definitely give my 2 cent here. Ok, let me stay neutral this time because I am the most bias all the time. Let's think straight about the issue.

You don't know that I almost literately cried seeing the fancam. All I thought at that moment is I'll go and kill the stylish first. However when I saw the HD version and calmed down, I found it not as terrible as I thought. However, it is not good either. 

1. MV

The MV and the song are nothing near related. I mean srsly, you can never find a sexy girl to Ayyy in Olympus. Even if you can find one, she must be Goddess, and believe me, not like what you see in the movie, a Goddess never wear revealing clothes to be sexy and once you Ayyy her, you will never even have chance to Ayyy your dog, I mean srsly (it may sound funny even though I am not trying to be funny). However, I think JYJ wanna tell us something behind that, it is not a good way to but at least it is SOMETHING. According to my understanding, it is breaking free from the place that they don't belong and from whom they r not. Olympus is the place for Gods so it need to be peaceful and beautiful but in reality, it is dirty and dark. 5 Gods of the East is the image that SM built for them, DBSK. Gods are the most powerful feature in the world, they are perfect and flawless. But JYJ are not and they cannot even control their life under SM Town. That is why they wanna run away, they wanna escape from that place. Olympus is not the place that you can come, come and you can leave, leave (like SM Town). Even though they r Gods, they still struggle so much to get out. At last they have to destroy Olympus. That is why they all wear white at first, a mix of black n white during the song and totally black at the end with Olympus collapsing. I know I may think too much but I trill try to find a way to understand the whole MV. However, I dun think doing it is a wise way.
 BUT NO IT IS, I HAVE JUST FIGURE IT OUT! Guys, watch Triangle again! The first 10 second is exactly the same! OMFG! So they mean they broke Olympus and form a TRIANGLE OF GODS!
OMG THIS IS THE BEST! THE BEST!

2. Style:

I mean srsly, WHAT THE HELL with that APRON on a BOY? OMFG, I cringed every time I saw it, every time JS turned his back, I almost had a heart attack, I mean srsly, it is just so terrible. SERIOUSLY, what the hell did the stylish have in her mind and what the hell did Junsu think to let them put on him that THING??? OMFG NOOO. I mean A BOY WITH S-LINE, NO NEED TO SHOW IT, I mean srsly your fans may find it cute, I DON'T! I mean people with right mind what the HECK with boy and a butt NOOOOOOOO I am sorry. I saw the S-LINE in every outfit he wore and it is SO SCARY. He is quite too chubby to show body, OK I AM SORRY JUNSU's fans to say his muscle is sexy is so STUPID. I will be OK if he show his muscle but he DOESN't have muscle. It is fat, I mean look at his arms and his back, HE IS NOT TONED. AND AGAIN DON'T PUT THAT OIL ON HIM, OMG so so so NOT NICE.

Jaejoong IS NO WHERE TO BE SEEN so I dont have many things to say about him. He may play the role bringing the creepiness to the MV because he looked exactly like a zombie  I mean he is too skinny and the eyeliner is too dark. At the very beginning when he turned his back and look at me (I mean us) it is truly like a GOD I mean a GHOST, and the moment he came close to the screen,  his skinny face scared me to death, I immediately though about "The Ring". SO CREEPY. And OK, JJ has muscle but it does not look nice on him, I mean he is too skinny to have muscle (Junsu, please give him some weight). And the most creepy thing is it looked like someone DRAW on his chest muscle. It is so fake and scary I mean SO HORROR-ize! JJ had to little airing time, ppl may thing he is the back-up dancer for sure. He looked so sick, I mean like someone suck all the energy out of his body. He was just lifeless. However, I do agree that he looked the most normal among 3 (except for the necklace).

I have to declare, I am A HARDCORE YOOCHUN's FANGIRL so I am sorry but I like the way Yoochun looked in the MV. He did not look normal to me either. I mean with that hair and that eyeliner he looked beyond a man's beauty which is not a good sign. And AGaIN please STFU since he did not have lipstick on, his lips are naturally pink like that. However, for me, he really stole the show, I mean seriously, his facial expression and his gaze really captivated me, not that I am his fan but to be honest, he is the spot light of the MV, even though JS had the most airing time. I don't like his hair though, I prefer short hair, more manly on him. But even with that crappy hair he still looked so handsome. I love the scene at the beginning, so AESTHETIC and give me a cringe in a good way. Well, admittedly, his close-up after that did creep me out.

3. English:

Junsu's and JJ's English is terrible, I am being honest. The chorus and Yoochun's part sounded good but other than that, it is totally Engrish. I mean I am sorry to say this but Junsu's "I am still bin bove with you, I can't got bover you" did not help  either, and JJ's is OMG I don even understand. The most terrible thing is Junsu's mouth did not suit what he was singing so it is like a dubbed video. I srsly realize how much I hate it when Yoochun didn't sing a lot in the song. Yeah ppl said Empty's English is so much more powerful, you know what, because Yoochun sang most in the song, if not...ewww.

4. Chro:

THIS IS THE BEST THING IN THE MV. I mean srsly, the chro is really nice and their dancing is not bad either. I am loving it, I mean I really have to thumb up for this. However, it would be so much better without JS's butt I know he is the best dancer but with his body the dance is not as nice as Yunho, to be honest, he looked really short. And Jaejoong, I don't know, I always think he does traditional dance not DANCE, I mean his movement is not firm and strong, and he has so much redundant gesture so it doesn't look natural. So next time just let JS or YC do the close-up for dancing. YC did not have time to practice the dance but he did pretty good in the MV, he is still not as good as Junsu but  I love the aura he brought to the dance. His movement sometimes is redundant too but he is def better than JJ so next time let him dance more, OK?

I sound like I am an Anti rite? I sound like I hate the vid rite? BUT I LOVE IT! I REALLY LOVE IT! I may be conflict but srsly the MV of their first song away from SM and all the crap that they have to deal with is AMAZING. I MEAN TRULY AMAZING!

The most terrible thing is their fans turn their back to them and bash them to hell. Excuse me, is that what I hope from anti.....
