It's too vague. [Summary of SIDA Official Announcement on Voting Irregularity]
1. During the voting process, the sudden surge of voting in the short period time caused the server down. It caused the screen error of the vote results (the shown result was moved back to the actual results). After the investigation, these were purely the screen errors and the actual votes were made successfully as the voter intended. These errors did not affect the acutal voting results.
2. SIDA organizers and the organizing committee conducted the joint investigation on the claimed rapid increase of the certain candidate by some fans. During the investigation, we found that there were some votes came from the unregistered countries codes (IP) and we confirmed that there were some votes did come through the unproper path. Theses votes will not be reflected in the polls. (Meaning thew will be excluded).
3. Yahoo Netizen Awards Votes proceed normally and we will conduct the awards in accordance with the voting results.

Half an hour later they changed their official announcement again with point 2 and point 3 amended.
2. The screen error (bug) did not affect the actual votes.
3. Investigated all votes from 7/26-8/16 and they found the irregular votes done with unregistered country codes and improper path for MULTIPLE CANDIDATES.
In simple language, after released their first announcement, in half an hour later SIDA were afraid of certain fanclubs' outburst and wanted to play it safe so they went back and changed the announcement the second time. This time they were implying that they have found irregular votes and improper votes were voted for multiple candidates. This is just so politically correct and diplomatic that really pissed me off. If this year SIDA award were given to JSG, and if he would be nominated for next year ward, I advise you SIDA, just might as well give JGS SIDA's life time award, so you wont have to be bothered with voting anymore in the future.
We were told that SIDA have answered multiple phone calls from fans from both fan-clubs, and each time they gave a different answer.
