Actor and singer Park Yoochun(JYJ) gave his final remarks on finishing the MBC Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Miss Ripley’.

In the ‘Video Sketch’ thread of the official homepage of ‘Miss Ripley’ on the 19th, a video of Park Yoochun’s last filming from the day before was released.

After finishing his last filming for the drama with Lee Sang Yup, Park Yoochun, who played the role of Song Yoo Hyun in the drama, stated, “Looking at the last schedule made me feel sad and put a lot of thoughts in my head.”

He continued to say, “I don’t think I’ve done well at all. In fact, I think this drama opened my eyes to what I’m lacking in and what I need to work on.”

Park Yoochun didn’t forget to say his farewells to his viewers as he said, “Thank you for watching our drama till the end and I’ll work hard to search for a great production that will be my next work. Thank you.”

Lee Da Hae and Park Yoochun from MBC drama “Miss Ripley” stated their official statement as to why they did not attend the celebration party (T/N: for the end of the series).

An official from Lee Da Hae’s office stated that, “In relation to her activities in China, she had be shooting on that day. As it was not possible to remove this from her schedule, she was inevitably not able to attend the party. It is not due to any conflicts with any of the crew.”

MBC Monday/Tuesday drama “Miss Ripley” ended with the drama rating #1.

The results from the rating company AGB Nielsen Media Research, “Miss Ripley” that aired on the 19th got 15.4% of the national rating. It was a 0.4 point up from the day before, which was 15%.
“Miss Ripley” has made a critical difference from the SBS drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” which is becoming very popular right now, and protected and beautifully took the #1 spot.

[NEWS] 110720 Park Yoochun got shingles, enforced schedule with the worst condition

Park Yoochun(25) from JYJ suffers from shingles.

Park Yoochun’s side said on 20^th July: “We knew he got shingles during the filming of Miss Ripley (MBC TV) a week ago. His face is okay but there are hives on his chest and back” and “Since he has filming schedule all along through the week, he got overwork, stress and undernourishment, so that the level of immunity went down and he got sick.”

Park Yoochun finished the filming of Miss Ripley on 18^th and is under treatment digesting external schedule including shoot for commercial filming. “Doctor said he had best to take a rest for some time but he had already planned schedule so he’s under treatment but unavoidably digesting external schedule.”

They added the mention about he had not attended Miss Ripley’s wrap-up party on 19^th: “He had a shooting for commercial but he was a bit out of shape and perspired so much” and “He really wanted to attend the party but the tiredness was accumulated and he even got shingles so that he was really out of shape. We are sorry toward production crew for not attending the party.”
